In the past I had heard God’s voice speak to me but it was only occasionally. When we moved to West Monroe, He not only started speaking to me frequently, but also started giving me dreams and visions.
The dream that really stands out in my mind, and really got me started hearing from God was about a friend who had come to see a house we had for rent. Well, the whole area was flooded and we had to go by boat to the house. My friend had 2 cats with him and one of them only had one ear. When we got to the house, the walls were caving in from the dampness and everything was in a mess.
I asked God to interpret this dream for me and in the meantime, I looked up everything in a dream book from boat to flood to friend.
Finally one day God said, “you are looking at all the wrong things. It’s not about anything in the dream except the cat. He only has one ear to let you that you are only hearing half of what I speak to you.”
Not long after we came to West Monroe, a friend asked us to visit her niece who had fallen and was paralyzed from the waist down. The friend went with us to visit in the PICU where she was.
We later found out that no one was allowed to visit her yet we walked right by the nursing station full of nurses and no one stopped us. When we got to the room, her mother was with her and when I looked in her eyes I knew that she had demons in her. She was very upset that we were there but grudgingly allowed us to pray for her daughter. The girl, who was 12 or 13,
already had foot drop from her limbs being inactive. She could not move anything below her waist. We cast out infirmity and spoke healing over her legs.
The very next day we got the report that she could wiggle her toes, and a day later she was up walking! We praised God for this miracle but thought no more about her mother since we didn’t really know her.
But several weeks later the mother of the girl called and asked if she could meet us at the church. When we sat down in the office, she said that she had a rare disease that had no cure and that God told her if she didn’t come to us for prayer, then she would die. This was no joke. This woman was for real. The first thing we did was cast demons out of her, then spoke healing over her body. This was a divine appointment because God not only honored our prayer for healing, but he restored her back to fellowship with Him, and later she started ministering in the Prophetic.
God’s restoration is complete. He wants to restore us to health and prosperity because of the covenant that we entered into with Him at salvation.
One night the Lord gave me a vision that my family and I were in our house, even my mother and my aunt was there, (who are both deceased) and the house was over a sink hole. We could see the house slipping into this huge mud hole. I could even see the house as the floors cracked and we had to watch where we walked as we tried to salvage what we could before it all
went under. I was grabbing things and discarding a lot, looking for the really important things to take. I knew I couldn’t take much and I was letting go of a lot of things that I have hung on to for years. Personal possessions that had meant so much, were now just clutter to sift through to get to the important things to save. At one point, my husband fell into the mud and it totally covered him until he was out of sight. I reached my hand down into the gooey mud and grabbed his hand and pulled him out.
The Lord has shown me that even if our life, our ministry, seems to be floundering and going under, just salvage what you can and go on. He is bringing about a change in the way we serve, the way we think, the way we act; and He wants us to let go of things, trappings, that are tied to the old ways. He is moving us from unsure, uneven ground to solid ground. Even if you have sunk down in the mud until it completely covers your head, God will reach down and pull you out. Don’t lose faith. For the Father who called us all to serve is faithful and true.

“You sing songs of praise to Me, My child, and I want to sing songs of love to you. For you are My creation and My joy. I will speak countless words to you if you will hear. I will sing to My beloved, words of love from My heart.
Listen – I speak, I sing. I am here. Seek Me for the words I speak bring life and joy.
My written word speaks volumes. Seek Me daily in it. Yet learn to listen for My songs of love to you.
I am ever by your side. Why do you feel lonely and afraid? For I am here love. Just hold My hand and let Me walk with you every day. Don’t let the ups and downs of life rule you. Seek Me and walk in My joy for I am the joy giver.
I bring refreshing to your soul. I long, long, long to fellowship with you daily. My heart breaks when you ignore Me."

“My beloved. I do not call you My child, but My beloved, My precious one. For you have grown and matured in My Word and I speak to you as one who has been through the fire. You have been tested and found worthy. Now we are truly one. One in spirit, one in soul.
My beloved. I love you with an overwhelming love. I miss our intimate talks, just sitting quietly together. When you don’t hear My voice, sometimes I am just enjoying sitting with you, being with you, knowing that you are with Me in spirit. That you quietly seek Me.
Don’t ever stop seeking Me, My love. For I long for our times of fellowship together. I love you with a forever love. Don’t ever think that life can be so hard as to hinder My love for you. For I am always by your side. Even when you feel so alone. Even when people come against you and heaven seems silent, even then I am there by your side. I call you beloved for you are more than a friend. You have been faithful and true to Me even in impossible situations. Watch, My beloved. Your reward is forthcoming.”
