Inez gives a plethora of scripture to back up her teachings in this remarkable book and gives examples of how she became victorious over the strongholds of the enemy. Walking A Tightrope While Wearing Combat Boots is a book primarily for older, mature Christians in the faith to use in spiritual warfare, but also can help prepare and instruct younger Christians to become warriors in Gods mighty army. Every Christian is called to spiritual warfare, but not all know how to use the weapons given to them. Inez Brinkley has done a remarkable job on a very tough subject and is to be commended for her work. While I disagree with some of the teachings in this book, I must acknowledge and respect a Warrior of the Cross of Jesus Christ. Walking a Tightrope While Wearing Combat Boots is a book that every Christian should have in their personal library as this book will prove to be an invaluable resource for Christians everywhere and will help Brother and Sisters in Christ to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

I couldn't put this book down once I started to read it. Walking a Tightrope While Wearing Combat Boots by Inez Brinkley is a must-read for any Christian desiring a deeper understanding of the spiritual realm and the battles occurring in that realm daily. Before a Christian can fight battles against demonic forces, it's necessary that we first acknowledge that there is indeed a battle and learn about the ends to which the enemy will go to defeat us. Walking a Tightrope While Wearing Combat Boots is a suitable title for the author's journey from Baptist preacher's wife to being herself a victorious warrior. If Christians want to get into the trenches against the enemy, lacing up those combat boots is the first step. I would recommend this book highly for any Christian's library.
